Well Chelsea didnt exactly stumble to the title in the end did they?
A stunning 8-0 win over Wigan was more than enough to bring the silver back to Stamford Bridge. Manchester United did their part with a 4-0 win over Stoke at Old Trafford but with Chelsea needing to lose the Reds never really had a chance.
2 goals from Nicolas Anelka, One each from Saloman Kalou, Ashley Cole, Frank Lampard and a Didier Drogba hat-trick did the business for the Blues. Drogna’s hat-trick took him to 29 for the season and was enough to win the Premier League Golden Boot
