World Cup 2010 Day Five Results
Tuesday 15th June – Day 5
A good result for minnows New Zealand means they have as much chance (for the moment anyway) as qualifying from the group stages.
In the group of death a cagey game between the Ivory Coast and Portugal ended in a goalless draw which was probably good for both teams and Brazil took a while to get going against a well organised North Korean side that had their moment of glory when Ji Yun-nam scored near the end
Group F
New Zealand 1 Slovakia 1
Group G
Ivory Coast 0 Portugal 0
Brazil 2 North Korea 1

Someone please stop the horns! I tried to give the World Cup a chance, but I’d even turn off the Superbowl if there was the same annoying background noise.
