Just 6 months to go until the World Cup starts in South Africa so its a good time to start having a look at the teams involved. We’ll start this week with Group A

Not the most popular of the qualified teams because of the way they got past Ireland in the playoffs but should stroll the group stage

The playoffs are over, so now we know the final list of teams who have qualified for the 2010 World Cup in South Africa

African Qualifying teams: Algeria, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Nigeria

Asian Qualifying teams: Australia, Japan, North Korea, South Korea

European Qualifying teams: Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Netherlands, Portugal, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland

South American Qualifying teams: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay

So there we have it, the long qualification process is over, so on to South Africa and may the best team win…
